The Physician Assistants work in different areas such as outpatient wing, wards and critical care units, operation theaters and other super specialty units like, Cardiology, Pulmonology, Nephrology, Neurology, Gastroenterology, Urology, Orthopaedics , Oncology, Endocrinology , Head and Neck and Plastic Surgery, Catheterization labs, Coronary care units, Organ Transplant units and trauma care etc.
Physician Assistants are formally trained to provide diagnostic, therapeutic and preventive health care services in all the medical specialties, as delegated by a physician. Working as members of a health care team, they collect medical histories, initial examination of the patients, and assist the doctors for diagnosis and treatment.

Candidates belonging to all categories for admission to the Allied Health Sciences should have passed the qualifying examinations after period of 12 years of study with English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Botany & Zoology with minimum 35% marks in each subjects (Academic / Vocational Stream)
The candidates seeking admission to the Allied Health Science Programmes shall submit the prescribed application to the college along with the copies of the educational certificates and other essential documents to the college. After scrutinizing the application and documents the candidates shall be called for admission based on their merits.
The candidates called for admission shall produce all their original certificates and other original documents pertaining to their qualification as prescribed by the University at the time of admission. The admission of candidates failing to submit the originals shall stand as cancelled.Not all the subjects present in this program have been mentioned.
