Course Duration - 2 years


This course is designed for students to assist the physicians in the diagnosis and the treatment of cardiac, blood vessels and thoracic systems. The cardiovascular and thoracic technologists are also responsible for monitoring the patient’s cardiac parameters while they undergo surgery.

This course imparts the basic knowledge in anatomy and physiology related to the practice of cardiothoracic and vascular surgery, cardiology, chest medicine, critical care management, and imaging technology. Students are taught in detail about the causes and principles underlying the uses of drugs and treatments for restoring the affected regions of the thorax to normalcy.
